DR. BOB LINETT (OWNER)

- Renton and Kent locations -
Robert M. Linett, D.V.M. graduated from
the University of California at Davis in 1974 and has practiced small animal medicine and surgery exclusively for over 34
years. Bob built and operated four successful, full-service animal hospitals in California between 1974 and 1983.
In 1983 he took on a partner and built several more animal clinics in California that offered outpatient services at significantly
lower costs to pet owners. In 1992 he sold all of his California clinics to employee veterinarians, moved up to Washington
where he formed another new corporation, Vets For Less, Inc., and opened clinics in Lynnwood, Kirkland, Puyallup and Federal
Way. Bob sold his total interest in Vets For Less, Inc. to his business partner in March of 2006 in order to form another
new corporation, VALUE PET CLINIC, INC., and pursue the opening of several low cost, outpatient veterinary
clinics with his daughter, Dr. Marci Linett; Dr. Jo Snyman, who had purchased Bob’s Puyallup Vets For Less clinic; and
Dr. Susan Miller, who was previously employed by Bob’s Federal Way Vets For Less clinic.
VALUE PET CLINIC
will continue Bob’s philosophy of offering low cost, high quality, outpatient medical and surgical services for pet
owners and their VALUED pets. The first VALUE PET CLINIC opened in Kent in October
of 2006 and the second VALUE PET CLINIC opened in Renton in April of 2007. Bob is actively seeking
additional sites for clinics in Olympia, Lakewood, Tacoma, Federal Way and Bellevue.
Bob grew up in Southern California; however
he spent most of his adult life in Northern California before moving to Washington in 1992. He has three grown children
and one teenager. Adam is a practicing attorney, who graduated from Stanford University and then Duke University Law School,
Daniel is a general contractor with his own successful business, and Marci is a 2006 graduate of the veterinary school
at U.C. Davis, Bob’s alma mater. Bob lives in Maple Valley with his wife, Anna, who is a nurse at the local junior
high school, and their 15-year-old daughter, Sherry, who is a 4.0 student, phenomenal fast pitch softball player (lettered
in Varsity as a Freshman) and is aspiring to become a veterinarian as well. Adam, Daniel and Marci are all “married
with children.” Adam has two young daughters, Daniel has a son and a daughter, and Marci has a son and a daughter.
That makes Bob a grand-dad six times over.
Besides coaching his daughter, Sherry, with
her fast pitch softball and assisting the coaches with her select 18U fast pitch softball team, AVALANCHE,
Bob’s other outside interest (passion) is target archery. He has an archery range at home that allows him to shoot
up to 100 yards, and he practices almost every day. He has won three National Archery Championships and one World Archery
Championship.
